Tania Luviano, Five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, spokesperson and professional speaker is a leader in the Hispanic community.

You can watch her investigative stories on NBC San Diego, Fox News Latino and Terra.com, the online resource for cutting edge information amongst affluent Hispanic trendsetters. Tania is also the face of Terra’s “Women’s Channel” Her role is to reach out to today’s modern Latina and empower them through her stories.

Luviano was previously the solo anchor of “Noticias Mi San Diego” on NBC owned station KNSD TV in San Diego, the first Spanish language daily newscast to run in English language station. At the same time, Luviano was the host of “Otro Vistazo,” and Border Correspondent for KWHY Channel 22 Los Angeles and Telemundo 52 Los Angeles.

Luviano’s passion for story telling and give a voice to the voiceless has taken her into some of the most treacherous and segregated regions in the U.S and Mexico.

Her exclusive investigative story “Border for Sale” where she uncovered U.S immigration officers turned smugglers aired Nationally on Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo” And her investigative report on bad housing conditions on a San Diego neighborhood forced the owner of the apartment complex to renovate the houses.

Most recently her report on “Bullying, an Epidemic in our Schools” re-open the investigation of a case of a San Diego family who have been bullied by a group of teenagers for more than a year.

Luviano credits much of her success to the struggles she endured growing up in the Mexican city of Tijuana in a humble and corrupted environment. As a result Tania is an advocate for the rights of the undeserved and works tirelessly with various community groups and non-profit organizations.

Luviano began her journalism career as anchorwoman, reporter, and producer on Univision San Diego, where she worked on stories involving her areas of expertise of Immigration and Border Issues as well as Hispanic related topics.

In addition to the 5 Emmys, Tania has received several prestigious awards including; “50 People to Watch” by San Diego Magazine, along with being awarded “The Hispanic Media Award” which represents the highest ideals and execution of Spanish-language journalism. Each year's nominees are screened by a distinguished nationwide panel of judges. They honor journalists who offered visionary leadership and paved the way for today's Spanish-language reporters, editors and news executives.

From sitting Presidents to Hollywood Stars, throughout her broadcast career, Tania Luviano has interviewed significant international political figures and newsmakers on a variety of topics.

Luviano is also a spokeswoman for Procter & Gamble targeting Hispanic Women. Her extensive experience as a respected member of the media supporting Latina issues was a key factor in this organization selecting Ms. Luviano to represent their brands in the Hispanic community.
